Recording Phase 1 Completed

Keeping in line with the proposed schedule, all the music for the album has been recorded and now ready for the next phase....lyrics.
During the course of the year, some lyrics have already been scribbled down but now its time for the serious rewrites.
This is a big change for me in the way I produce my albums. Usually, I write whatever comes first. Sometimes I'd record the instruments to a melody that ran through my head .Other times I would pen lyrics that would creep up on me from no where.
This time around, I have tried to be strict and record the music first, write the lyrics and then lay down the vocal tracks. Some lyrics I didn’t want to lose, so my bedside journal contains a few verses here and a few choruses there. Now I have to assemble them all together.
As I type this update, I'm playing the instrumental tracks through the Mac with the bass notched up just a little and my hairs are standing on end. I’m very pleased with the new sound and I’m hoping you will all enjoy it too.
With the hiking trip set for September 28th, it looks like things are well on schedule.
